Vashisht :-

This town found 3 km from Manali across the River Beas.

This spot has an invigorating environment that permits one to enjoy holly shower while looking for gift from the directing god of the town.

The sanctuary is accepted to be over 4000 years of age. Inside the sanctuary there is a dark stone picture of the Rishi wearing dhoti.

The Vashist sanctuary is beautified with magnificent and lovely carvings on wood. Inside of this sanctuary is somewhat customary which is ornamented with old fashioned artwork and figures.

Timings: Vashist Temple: 7 am to 9 pm, Vashisht showers: 7 am to 1 pm, and 2 pm to 9 pm on throughout the days.

Jogini Waterfall :-

Distance of waterfall 4 Km from Vashisht Temple and 7.5 Km from Manali Bus Stand.

The trek to Jogini Falls is among the best short treks near Manali. The trek route passes through a narrow lane adjacent to Vashisht temple and goes through apple orchards, tall pine trees and small water streams. On the way few restaurants and guest houses are also available.

A gentle walk will take 1 hour to reach the base of waterfall.

This is one of the best short treks in Manali to enjoy local scenic beauty and village life in Himalayas.
